According to reports from Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma is gearing up for another round of negotiations with Federico Chiesa’s agent, Fali Ramadani.
Chiesa is anticipated to depart Juventus during the upcoming summer transfer window due to the absence of an agreement extending his contract beyond June 2025.
Moreover, Thiago Motta, the new coach, does not view the former Fiorentina striker as a pivotal figure in his plans.
Conversely, Roma manager Daniele De Rossi has long admired Chiesa, and as per Il Corriere dello Sport, Florent Ghisolfi, Roma’s new director, will soon meet with the winger’s representative again to advance discussions regarding the transfer.
The initial meeting between the parties took place in June, but Ghisolfi will receive updates on Chiesa’s transfer status following the European Championships, which did not provide Juventus with an opportunity to elevate the winger’s market value.
Despite rumors involving several European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Juventus has yet to receive any offers for Chiesa.
Chiesa reportedly finds De Rossi’s Roma project intriguing, and his partner, Lucia Bramani, reportedly prefers relocating to Rome over any other foreign city.
