After Manchester United’s 0-3 loss to Manchester City, Marcus Rashford celebrated his 26th birthday with family and friends at a Manchester nightclub. He partied at the venue’s VIP area alongside teammate Tyrell Malacia, but the duration of their stay is unknown. The party reportedly concluded around 3:30 AM.
Rashford returned to training with his teammates at the Carrington training ground the next day, but questions arose regarding potential disciplinary action from coach Erik Ten Hag. Celebrating at such a famous place after a debilitating team loss might not sit well with Ten Hag.
This season, Manchester United, under Ten Hag, has struggled significantly, losing seven of 14 games. Issues in the team’s offensive performance are a matter of concern, given Rashford’s individual prowess.
Arsene Wenger, the former Arsenal manager, expressed “It’s sad that a big club like United has lost hope. This team has lost morale, including confidence and quality. It has to be said that United’s fierce fighting spirit has been lost. “I believe that the first problem that United suffered was due to the low quality of the individual players,” he said.
